Senior Curator at Sarasota Art Museum of Ringling College of Art and Design
Dr. Rangsook Yoon is Senior Curator at Sarasota Art Museum of Ringling College of Art and Design, where she oversees the curatorial department. She has administered and curated over forty exhibitions, led innovative public programming, and worked with donors at multiple arts institutions in Florida. She has published scholarship on the art of the northern Renaissance and written for a wide audience about contemporary artists from Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Born, raised, and educated in South Korea, Rangsook majored in French Language and Literature at Korea University in Seoul and received her PhD in art history from the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University. Prior to her museum career, she was a full-time professor of art history, teaching college courses ranging from early modern European to modern and contemporary art and art theory at nationally ranked liberal arts colleges.
