The PFF Collection brings nearly 30 works by 23 artists to Halo Arts Project at the John Sims Studio in Sarasota\, creating a powerful dialogue between legacy\, identity\, history\, and contemporary expression. \nÀṣẹ (axe / asé / ashé) is a Yoruba concept that exists across the African Diaspora. It has a dual meaning: both a spiritual directive\, understood as “the power to make things happen\,” and a vital life force that flows through all living things. The works in this exhibition embody the spirit of àṣẹ through their depictions of divine figures\, stories of resilience\, and their illustration of the depth of cultural exchange between Caribbean and American artists.
