Wexler grew up surrounded by cornfields in a small town in the heart of Illinois. She wanted to know what was on the other side of the hill.
Wexler is a veteran of the US Navy, graduate of Parsons New School of Design and holds her art certification from Bank Street College, both in NYC.
She also holds her M.Ed from National Louis University. Wexler has been teaching in the Sarasota County School district for over 15 years. Her paintings are her visual diary and she continues to explore and experiment with her work.
